OUR COMPANY
Scott Smith and Eric Moseley
are partners in Volunteer Development, one of the leading residential
developers in Knox County. The two men are long-time friends
who share deep roots in the Knoxville area.
Both attended Bearden High School and graduated from the University
of Tennessee.
Scott started his career in real estate as a broker
for Volunteer Realty, a company his father founded in 1962. After
working with Holrob Investments as a site locator and developer,
Scott acquired Volunteer Realty and became the company's president.
Eric also began his
14-year
career in real estate as a broker before transitioning
to land acquisition and development.
In 1997, Scott and Eric teamed up to
launch Volunteer Development and took on the challenge of planning
and preparing their first
subdivision. Today, Volunteer Development has successfully developed
more than 30 residential neighborhoods. Both partners are deeply
involved in all aspects of the business and they pride themselves
on being hands-on developers who spend the on-site time necessary
to
make sure all details are covered.
Builders, agents, and homebuyers know that properties
by Volunteer Development feature thoughtful planning of roads
and home sites and careful consideration of the many issues associated
with
new home construction.
